Equipping Leaders for Over 70 Years
Christian Life College began over 70 years ago as Chicago Bible College. Even before its official incorporation in 1950, classes were held at Philadelphia Church in Chicago, where people gathered to study God’s Word and receive ministry training.
As more churches sent students, the vision of a four-year Bible college emerged. Chicago Bible College became a full-time institution, dedicated to raising up pastors, evangelists, missionaries, and Christian workers.
After several locations in Chicago, the college moved to the northwest suburbs in 1977, eventually settling in Mount Prospect with Christian Life Church in 1981. It was then that the name changed from Chicago Bible College to Christian Life College.
In 1987, Christian Life College received approval from the Illinois Board of Higher Education to grant Associate and Bachelor of Arts degrees.
Throughout the years, CLC has expanded its global reach, developed outstanding student housing on campus, and strengthened its commitment to academic and spiritual growth.
Today, Christian Life College continues its mission to train generations for a lifetime of Kingdom work.
